OSU Botanical Garden
The OSU Botanical Garden is a 100 acre multi-purpose facility located just west of OSU’s main campus at 3425 W. Virginia and is home to the Division of Agriculture's award-winning Oklahoma Gardening show.
Research Focus
The research emphasis of the Botanical Garden centers on Turfgrass and Ornamental Horticulture. Additionally, our unique geographic location near the confluence of 2 watersheds-Stillwater Creek and Cow Creek allows to to serve as a host for various research projects dealing with environmental and water management issues.
The Botanical Garden also functions as a major teaching and extension resource for the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. In addition to serving as an outdoor classroom for several departments, we also host many workshops and other educational events throughout the year.
The crown jewel of the facility is the OKLAHOMA GARDENING STUDIO GARDEN. The studio garden serves as a home base for the Division of Agriculture’s award winning OKLAHOMA GARDENING television show seen weekly on OETA. The garden currently hosts over 7000 visitors a year.
