Sandyland Research Station
This field station was originally designed to study soil and wind erosion problems in the area. The station is on the Miles series soils, which are vulnerable to wind and water erosion, although they can be quite productive with good management.
Research Focus
Studies include: cotton variety research and forestry tree species evaluation for western Oklahoma.
