Research Focus
The Southern Plains Range Research Station mission is to develop sustainable production practices through improved management of energy flow, nutrient cycling, and hydrologic dynamics for Southern Plains rangeland and associated agricultural ecosystems. Research at the Southern Plains Station centers around soil fertility, small grains, alfalfa, pasture and range forages, and animal science.
Size & Location: The Southern Plains Station covers 280 acres on the southwest edge of Woodward.
